Why do B cells make (more) cochlin in RA, SLE and Sjogrens? A really interesting preprint, from @beccabelmonte.bsky.social and Mohini Gray at @edinuni-irr.bsky.social www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...
Really enjoyed reading this preprint from Emma Davenport and Marina Bottoβs labs. scRNAseq + AIRR of rituximab treatment in SLE - www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1...
*Please repost* @sjgreenwood.bsky.social and I just launched a new personalized feed (*please pin*) that we hope will become a "must use" for #academicsky. The feed shows posts about papers filtered by *your* follower network. It's become my default Bluesky experience bsky.app/profile/pape...

Sorry, I just re-read the ENA email: βWe would like to inform you that your studies have been made public with all associated data. Please be aware that it can take few days for this to be reflected in the ENA Browser.β. It looks like we need to wait for a few days before itβll be searchable.
Raw data available at: www.ebi.ac.uk/ena, PRJEB83659
This should be an essential requirement for all studies and publications: data available βon reasonable requestβ is not sufficient.
Our new publication on BCR sequencing in ME/CFS, adding to the evidence of an increased usage of IGHV3-30.
Much more immunological research is needed to understand the many lines of evidence indicating immune-mediated or autoimmune components to the disease.

Thanks Madhu, yes I was able to confirm that. Their donation website appears to be donate.who.foundation. Iβm simply being cautious and trying to find out whether money donated through the donorsupport.co link actually gets to them. Do you know if it was WHO foundation that set up that link too?
I was unable to find any information that donorsupport.co was a legitimate website? The root URL has no website, and the domain registration is anonymous and only approx 4 years old. Is this a site that others are familiar with? Hopefully it is legit?
Itβs wonderful to be at the University of Glasgow today to examine a viva. I think the last time I was here was 18 years ago for my own.
ππ»ββοΈ @jamieheather.bsky.social Could you please add me? Thanks!
If you happen to have this combination of TC needs and a Stuart mini orbital shaker, you can download and print one too: www.printables.com/model/108765...
Having a day back in the lab expressing antibodies in Expi293 cells. Very excited to use my new 3d printed flask holder- much better than the old sticky mat!
Looking forward to this- just registered.
And @persmiseth.bsky.social
Also @pfvale.bsky.social
Welcome to BlueSky @uoe-eid.bsky.social !
Inspired by @rodrahimi.bsky.social 's noble efforts linking immunologists together over here, let's try and get more specifically TCR/BCR/AIRR/repertoire chat going with this starter park
