Is the final outfit warm? Yes. Is it comfy? Also yes. Plus it has so many things to fidget with, are you kidding? Beads, pendant, lace, ruffly hems. 10/10 would recommend just piling on some rags and call it an outfit every day~

Finally to look like a weird aunt, pick your finest long plastic bead necklace and wrap it around the neck twice, then add a shorter necklace for layering. No idea about the beads, the pendant necklace is by www.instagram.com/sandra.s_sie... that I got from her at a little market

To look less like a blob, add waist with a belt. This is, as I have learned, a western or cowboy belt, with a double buckle. To snatch silhouette, wear it like at the start of the thread, over both vests. Not feeling the waistline today? Wear it under the top vest, still adds some structure.

Final clothes bit is this black waterfall vest, with long sleeves this time. Brand is Clara Vitti and it’s one of my fav vests honestly. Lightweight but does a lot and very soft.

On top of that this Vintage Allsaints waterfall sleeveless vest thing. They don’t make stuff in this style anymore,sadly. Lucky find on Vinted. An optional layer, really, just added this to be less of a black blob.

This thing does the heavy lifting, it’s a lace dress with a handkerchief hem by the brand Myrine and Me. I find all my clothes on Vinted by the way, usually. Occasionally I get lucky in a local thrift store but it doesn’t happen very often.

First off just a long sleeved shirt because it was chilly. Boring. Over that a summer dress, an a-line maxi. What I look for with dresses to go under things like this is a fuller skirt, because you have to be able to spin it and have it flare out otherwise what is the point. No brand for the dress.

I took pics as I undressed it to throw into an album called “help how do I dress myself” because I forget how to sometimes. So let me put a little breakdown here as well, why not.

The mannequin is size 38 and I am size 40 so things will hang a bit weird on her at times, keep that in mind.

Used the symmetry tool for the 'bones' then doodled in the rest, all of this is on one layer. You could use multiple layers then put everything in a folder or merge them to use the Divide trick later

I thought he looked too red-headed, so I duplicated the lines and set the layer mode to Multiply at 85%. Then kept the lines for the hair and erased most of the rest, now he looks like he has black hair yay!

To mess with the colours a bit and make them look interesting with 0 effort, I duplicated the original doodle, then inverted it. Literally ctrl+i, photo negative mode, you know. Then, when setting the layer mode to Divide at 100% most of the time interesting colour things happen. And this time they did too hurray! You can use this trick on coloured images as well.

I wanted a bit more, so I just duplicated my Divide layer and set it to 35%. Divide upon Divide, really. Lost a bit of detail but I'm fine with the crunchy look, I think it looks neat.

1: Original doodle. Brush is a Kyle Wet & Wild edit: drive.google.com/file/d/10TCS...
2: Duplicate, Multiply mode 85%, erased everything but his hair to make it darker
3: Duplicate 1, invert, set to Divide layer mode
4: Duplicate Divide layer, set to 35%
