Never read him but love a rec. In return, I give you Susie Steiner. I just read Missing; Presumed and her writing is just brilliant. Descriptions so good they that make you draw in a breath. Characters and dialogue to die for. Best writing I've read for a while.

Worth shouting that undetectable means untransmissable. Remembering in particular the generation of bi and gay men lost to AIDS, but also hopeful for a future where PreP exists and #UEqualsU. Now let's end the stigma.

Lottie is an adventurous little lamb that loves to skateboard. But poor Lottie had an accident and may have broken her ankle. Now instead of leaping, she can only limp. Lottie is off to the hospital for an MRI scan.

This engaging story by Professor Rolf Vosshenrich and Sylvia Graupner explains to children what it’s like to have an MRI scan in a way they can understand.

My "waterproof" down jacket never really recovered after the battering it got in the Icelandic rainstorm so I'm washing it with down tech wash and dryer balls and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I haven't ruined it. Thoughts and prayers.

It's funny because it's true πŸ˜†. Did you mean cup or did you mean cylindrical container with a slight taper at one end made of material which is approximately 3mm thick and has a density and appearance consistent with a porcelain handleless hipster cup.

Why decolonising the medical curriculum is hard work..

A letter to Nature from a Scottish ophthalmologist proposing changing β€˜red reflex’ to the fundal reflex test, to better encompass ethnic diversity of fundal appearance (blue, green)

Guess what the Scottish Tory party had to say about it…
