On this Halloween, a reminder that a sculptor included a Xenomorph gargoyle during the 1990s restoration of Paisley Abbey

The Pumpkin King is constructed from a small pumpkin for a head, a body formed of cropped buddleia stems, atop his grinning head sits a branching crown of buddleia wood. His royal visage is lit by LEDs and is astride a large trunk. This lord of misrule looms 50-60 cms in height. Be fear'd.
