Me too! Season 2 gave me such a craving for olive oil and I definitely need to try falafel tacos 🌮
I binge watched both seasons this week and laughed, cried and felt heartbreak so many times. Absolutely brilliant ♥️
♥️♥️♥️
I am super grateful to my supervisors, mentors and ILD community, for their support, guidance and encouragement. Whatever happens next, I will continue to challenge myself every day.
6. Reach out to your heroes and people who inspire you. I’ve had some fantastic discussions and support from high-profile academics.
7. Read. I’ve enjoyed books outside of my research area, including Atomic Habits and Never Split the Difference. I’d love some recommendations for Q2.
4. Keep to a schedule and break up the day with different activities, especially on days when you don’t have any meetings planned.
5. Remind yourself of your goals and expected outcomes regularly to ensure you’re on track to deliver them.
2. Ask lots of questions and take interest in what others are researching. You’ll be surprised to find how others’ interests align with yours.
3. Take every opportunity to present/discuss your research. Others will ask questions you may not have considered previously and help develop your ideas.
As I’m passionate about helping others starting their research journeys, here are my top tips for Q1:
1. Meet the team and ensure you’re seeing them regularly. The doctoral and post-doctoral members will offer you invaluable words of wisdom, advice and signposting.
It’s been 3/12 since I started my pre-doc fellowship and the question I ask myself daily is, “am I doing enough?” The transition from clinician to clinical researcher has been incredibly exciting and it is important that I make the most of each day.
We’re conducting a quick, anonymous survey to better understand current practices for managing interstitial lung abnormalities (ILAs) in the UK. Your insights can help improve care pathways and outcomes.

"The work by @US_FDA underscores the fact that data from oximeters is only one part of the larger clinical picture, and that strong clinical judgement is still central to medical decision making," said ATS member Indira Gurubhagavatula, MD, MPH, chair of SRN assembly. www.healio.com/news/pulmono...
Thank you! Most appreciated ♥️ It’s great to find the X ILD community here
That’s so kind Nazia. Happy New Year!

I am so grateful to all the committee members who worked tirelessly to deliver on our goals. The committee is phenomenal and I cannot wait to support and cheer on the upcoming initiatives in 2025.
5. We undertook a national service evaluation of ILD services and workforce. The results were published in a national report and presented at #ERS congress
3. We initiated quarterly meetings and collaborated with ILD #Partner Organisations
4. In collaboration with PF Trust, we filmed an interview with the inspirational Chef Alain Roux, who shared experiences of caring for his father, the late Michel Roux, who was diagnosed with #pulmonaryfibrosis
1. We grew our membership to include #nurses, #pharmacists, #AHPs and #doctors. We welcomed membership from all #HCPs in #ILD, including #resp and #rheum
2. We formalised the #emeritus board to ensure we benefit from the expertise of previous chairs
1st January marks the end of my term as co-chair of ILD-IN. I am incredibly proud of our achievements and how much we have grown. I hope we have been able to make a difference and support HCPs deliver the best care possible to people with ILD. Here are a few highlights of my term:
