TL;DR Unity -> Godot transition: after 13 years in unity, it took me 4-6 weeks of getting adjusted, and now i’ll never go back. it has quirks, like other engines. there’s bugs. but it’s free, basically equally capable, and well reported issues get fixed quicker than in unity (sometimes within hours)

Bon avec expé33 nommé en GOTY indé le débat sur l'indé va revenir. Je propose une règle simple :
Si on voit les pixels à l'écran, alors c'est indé.
Les Game Awards auraient bel et bien annulé le programme Future Class après sa disparition silencieuse en 2024 (www.gamedeveloper.com/business/why...)
Le souci avec la jeune génération "brillante, audacieuse et inclusive" c'est qu'elle a aussi un avis sur Gaza ou les rafles en plein jour aux US.
Dans cette étude menée par @buffer.com sur 18 MILLIONS de posts, la conclusion est claire et nette : si vous ne payez pas, vous n'existez pas. Si vous payez, vous n'existez pas non plus ! Sauf si vous avez l'abo le + cher et là, les bots vous ciblent directement, alors vous avez de "l'engagement" 👍

Something I didn't mention in my story yesterday: one of the reasons that Team Cherry had such an enjoyable time making Silksong is that it's 2D. Nice and flat. Don't have to worry about 3D art pipelines.
In other words, all video games should be 2D
