Okay folks, the OFMD Event List is here!! The list is an easy way to see posts from every current OFMD event account.

How to use the list: Follow the link to the list, and pin it to your home! Peruse at your leisure!

Hey #OFMD pals, in case you missed it, the events list is now up and running with all* OFMD events added! It's linked in the quoted post, along with an FAQ!!

*I think I got them all, if you think one is missing check the list and then let me know!

OFMD conventions have been added to the list!

I'll be keeping an eye out for new events as they pop up, but feel free to send them my way to add as well!

As of now, I think that all OFMD events that have been/are being run on bluesky have been added to the list!

If you're running (or have ran) an OFMD bluesky event with its own account, feel free to check the list (go to the 'people' tab to see all accounts on it) and let me know if it's missing!

Question for folks - would y'all be interested in a second list that's just for OFMD-focused cons? Or would you like cons to go on the events list? Right now it's more focused on online events like prompt weeks, but happy to add them if folks would find that helpful!

It's here!!! All current events (that are in the gateway server list, and have their own Bsky account) are added at this time - I am slowly adding old accounts, too.

If you've got an OFMD event (with its own account) and it isn't on the list, let me know and I'll add it!

Hey folks, just going to request that you please check to see if you're already on the list if you're unsure! Go to the list, click over to "People," and you should be able to see every account!

10) How do I see who all is on the list?

To find all accounts on the list, go to the list, and then click to the "People" tab!! It's a great way to find new events to follow!

9) My posts aren't showing on the feed!

Please note that the list only shows recent posts (I'm not sure exactly how recent, but ~ 5 days)! Older posts won't appear on the feed.

If you've checked that you're on the list, and still aren't seeing your recent posts, send tragicallynerdy a DM!

8) I really want an OFMD events calendar!

There is already an events calendar of sorts in The Gateway Server discord (they're tagged above)! And if you want something like a google calendar, please feel free to make one, we'd happily share it!

7) The list isn’t showing me everything an account re-posts!

Lists *only* show original posts that accounts make – so re-posts that event accounts make (ie, of fics written for their event) won’t show on the feed. To see these, please go follow the event accounts directly!!

6) Why a list and not a feed?

The goal of this is to make it as simple/easy to maintain as possible - feeds require more work, and often things get missed because hashtags etc aren't used. So, I made a list!

5) Will this account promote events directly?

Nope! At this time, this account is purely to maintain a list of all events, which do their own promo.

For an account that DOES promote all OFMD events, go follow
@thegatewayserver.bsky.social - they do AMAZING work sharing events our community has!
