A lineage can't, but a name definitely can be. Hence why Black American and African American are trademarked as well. You don't have to like Tariq, but if you're going to criticize him you need better talking points, with all due respect.

Instead of comparing and contrasting these Repub. and Dem. politicians, I'm spending my energy working on supporting politicians that come from in-house. That's where the future of Black America is going to lie.

Kamala literally did the same thing this last election with Black men. My ultimate point is that none of these politicians on either side of the aisle wants to completely uplift all of Black America, and would be a-ok seeing us getting team wiped.

With all due respect, neither had a proper plan, nor were even intending to give reparations. Whatever plan she had was as much, if not more, of a nothing-burger as Trump's platinum plan.

See, that's an example of something that I'd personally stray on the side of caution about.That sounds too much like the grey goo. The most I could, potentially, agree with is making ourselves more functionally robust (Thicker bones, Thicker cerebral fluid, Higher Fat retention/adaptation, etc.).

My personal position on transhumanism/post humanism has been more on the conservative side. I've shown some curiosity about the idea as a thought experiment, but really nothing more. Ultimately, I always come to the conclusion that it's more of a Faustian bargain than a true blessing for anyone.

Now personally, I don't embrace anyone outside of our lineage, "mixed" or not. For me to even consider you, your daddy has to at least be a Black American. So long story short, would I consider you "Black"? No, but I also wouldn't consider a full blooded Zulu "Black" either.

You would be considered Black by this current white purist society. Historically we have embraced people of mixed heritage due to that, and also the fact that these people were our family that were raised with us in our communities.

Being Black American is based on blood, it doesn't matter where you were born. The same way a Chinese person being born in Japan doesn't make them Japanese, an Afro-Latino born in America doesn't make them Black American. He has his own respective ethnicity and you should learn to respect that.
