I've put a lot of effort into learning new skills. Learning them matters more now, because it's so easy to fake.
Don't stop being suspicious. Even of me, if you feel that way. Just please be careful before pointing a finger publically.

It really is getting difficult, and it will only get worse over time. I'm not mad. I just ask that you exercise caution before putting people on blast. I appreciate Waga's efforts in calling out AI, but also beware that a misfire at a legit artist can ruin reputation even if the error is corrected.

If you watch my speedpaints, you can see that my shaping and sketches all follow the same basic forms, just that my final layer is different brushes. That's all that's changed. I wanted something less fuzzy than Isa's Watercolor brushes.

To outright say it: No, I do not use AI, in any way.

Ouch. Please exercise caution before you point laser cannons at people, please.

I make effort to be transparent with what new stuff I try in each piece for exactly this reason, especially because recently I jump between brush sets for my lines on different pieces trying new things.

I think I've found a new balance with how I want to do my line work. It's actually saved me time! I can use a nice solid untapering brush for my outlines, and the softer, fuzzier, watercolor brushes for unrefined details. I love how it looks! 🥹
Also found a pointing-arrow brush and couldn't resist.
