Drawing for me always involves mental preparation. Breaking it down into intervals requires more preparation time, and I've realized that I need to dedicate hours of the day for my brain to finally function and be able to draw. The problem is that when that happens, it's already bedtime.

I tried again and failed. I can't stick to routines. They only delay my work. I can only draw something properly if I draw continuously without stopping. If I divide my drawing time into intervals throughout the day, it takes me between two and five times longer to finish.

I miss the days when I enjoyed listening to progressive rock/metal. Although I like what I've been listening to recently, the albums are very short, only 30 minutes. I want to listen to an entire 15-hour discography without getting bored again 😔

A humidifier made a huge difference. I couldn't work because of the dry weather. I used one for the first time today and was able to breathe and draw comfortably. I felt like I was inside an oven but this time with an open refrigerator next to me.

I saw a great butthole focused drawing, but the text completely ruined it.

The Portuguese dubbing seems more mature, while the original is more cartoonish. I still think the Brazilian version is more fitting.

Out of curiosity, I searched Yzma's original voice (english) and came to the conclusion that both the original voice and the Portuguese dub would be the perfect voice for my Yordle

i found a picture of a drawing of a femboy i saved months ago and i told myself i want to have his body shape. I think I'm finally taking the steps in that direction.

In hormonal terms, I kind of know what's happening. Something is causing me stress, which releases certain hormones that are eliminated through exercise, which in turn releases serotonin and dopamine in my body. Now I need to know the cause.

Something weird happens when I manage to control my anxiety through exercise. I feel the urge to draw when this happens. So apparently it's not the drawing itself that stresses me out, but something else that I don't know what it is.

As long as I don't injure a muscle, I'll do it as many times as necessary. Anyway, I don't think that's going to happen, muscle fatigue sets in first and practically solves my anxiety problem.

I'm going to love doing this

It worked again. I managed to control a stress spike and the negative thoughts disappeared.

I mentioned before something I've been doing lately that, for some reason, helps me deal with stress and concentrate better, doodling on some area of the canvas while looking at the image. I did this for the first time in a practice and it helped me draw faster and better

Trying to draw when you have other things to finish, especially commissions, is a nightmare. You give the impression that you're not working on them and that you're just slacking off.
