Due to reasons I’ve started working on controller support all of a sudden. I’ve been putting this off for months so why not!

I created a custom editor to make art in this style

It supports different “brush” sizes, layers, color palettes, undo/redo, and a preview mode

It’s a lot of fun to work with!

But this effect is only for taking damage. The effect at the top of this thread is when a character is defeated. I suppose I could do something extra based on the amount of “overkill”. That’s a cool idea!
