Utter trash journalism by @reuters.com, no idea why they felt the need to do "investigative" "journalism" about the identity of an artist, complete joke of an organisation
Bands who are late arriving on stage are cunts, don't they realise some of us travel a great distance to see them and need to leave at a certain time to catch our trains home
It'll never catch on...
But one of the best things his work has given rise to, at least as far as teenagers of the 1980s are concerned, is that video. And one of the best things I’ve found about *that* is the Dazed article, in which Donald Sutherland talks about how he got the gig – and about Kate Bush being wasted:
Gig #38 was also a long time ago, and in the UK, Kylesa (3) at The Underworld in London, reformed and in form, glad I stuck around for a few extra days to catch them (and 3IoB).
So gig #37 of the year was the day after gig #36, over a month ago, 3 Inches Of Blood (5) in The Asyium in Birmingham, brilliant show, surprised I had not been to a show here before.
This is patently not true, they're just releasing vinyl missing tracks or across multiple discs

Well I was in the UK, it would have been rude to just fly home so stuck around for gig #36 of 2025, 3 Inches Of Blood (4) in The Bread Shed in Manchester, great wee venue and amazing show.
Almost a week and a half ago but gig #35 of 2025 The Smashing Pumpkins (5) at Gunnersbury Park in London with support from Skunk Anansie (10), very much a trip down memory lane, great show from both bands.
Set times tonight for Three Inches of Blood at the Bread Shed, #Manchester:
Doors - 19:00
Steel Forge - 19:25
Hellbearer - 20:15
3IoB - 21:15
Gig #34 of 2025, The Boomtown Rats supported by The Undertones at Swords Castle (yes really), great set from a trailblazing band in a lovely outdoor venue (though they could dump some of the new tracks)
We've gone live on #Sonos ! asti.ga/integrations...
Gig #33 of 2025, the (frankly) transcendental Nine Inch Nails (13) at the Bercy Arena in Paris, stunning show and I got right down the front in between the two stages (much closer to the main stage), this time they played The Perfect Drug so I'm happy
Best brewery in New York City by a country mile (and I've visited so many 🫣)
Gig #33 of 2025, Wild Rocket (2) at Anseo supported by Burning Realm (1) and Phil Langero (1), I love a wee on-the-floor show and enjoyed all three acts, a great Friday night.
Gig #32 of 2025, Deftones (7) in Crystal Palace Park, London. Another big show in a field but amazing setlist and stunning show, they're a great band, glad I made the trip over.
Gig #31 of 2025, Iron Maiden (27) at Malahide Castle, it's actually been a while since I saw Maiden (seven years 🫣) as I skipped the last tour (or two?) but this was a great set, wall to wall classics, hope I can catch them somewhere smaller/indoors soon (maybe some shows in the O2 in London?)
Gig #30 of 2025, Run To The Beast (1), an Iron Maiden cover band playing Lost Lane, rebranded as "Eddie's Dive Bar" for two days as part of Maiden's show at Malahide Castle (see next post), great gig, great setlist, will be seeing them again.
Gig #29 of 2025, Black Flag (1) at Opium in Dublin, a version of the band, playing two decent length sets with all the songs you'd want/expect, only Greg left from original lineup, rest of the band did a good job, would probably go see them again...
Gig #28 of 2025, Kim Deal (1) at Vicar Street, this was almost two weeks ago 🫣, great gig from a legend in my favorite venue (and I've been to a few 🤣). She played her new album in full as well as songs from The Pixies, The Breeders and The Beatles. Would recommend catching her live!
Our first #iOS build is now available on the #AppStore ! Only storage browsing and basic feedback is currently supported, but we aim to add more and iterate quickly. apps.apple.com/us/app/astig... (oh and give us a 5★ rating, pretty please...)
Gig #27 of 2025 Nine Inch Nails (12) at the 3arena last Sunday, blindingly good gig, great setlist including Parasite by HTDA and I'm Afraid Of Americans by David Bowie, looking forward to the Paris show
I don't suppose there's anyone from #Apple out there that could help us with a little #AppStore submission problem is there? 😟
What N. Ireland is experiencing right now is a form of state media censorhip to cover up the overwhelming level of paramilitary involvement in the far-right, white supremacist riots that have swept the North. While cameras and narratives focus on the 'youths' - the men in the shadows .. [1/n]
Gig #26 of 2025, this one is slightly further afield, Jhen Yue Tang (1) at LIVE Warehouse in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, with support from Sunset Samurai (1). This was a fun local gig we just found online, really enjoyed both bands, and picked up a CD from each.
That gig #25 was also Supergrass (8) at The Olympia the next night, this time I brought Sarah.
