At a time where Labour and other parties are looking to roll back rights of minorities across the board, having a politician sit down, actually listen and take on board how they can advocate for trans and other marginalised communities is so important. Labour's NEC agreed to develop a code of conduct against transphobia in March 2021, and *still* hasn't finished that work over four years later, but they got a ban on trans women written out in a few weeks.
