Update: After calling again and asking a supervisor, I have a case opened, as well as the case number. Fingers crossed it get's fixed this time. Would really like to advertise my book on Amazon, yall 🤞

Idk what to do at this point. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm at a loss.

So, I placed one final written complaint about the seller. Wrote all of this out essentially. I'm sure nothing will be done. I'm just so pissed off, im tempted to pull my audio book from Amazon as well. I just want people to read my book, dammit, and I already have someone trying to ruin this.

Instead of removing Green Orbit's listing, they removed the CORRECT listing THEY PUT UP THEMSELVES! So now, the only paperback listing on Amazon is the wrong one. A fraud listing that will only result in people getting pissed off and losing money. Tried to call and fix it, and it was no help.

So, I reported this to Amazon. I called, spoke with someone who said they filed a complaint, and that I would receive email updates as to the case. Fast forward a few days, and i happen to notice that they removed a listing, alright... BUT THEY REMOVED THE WRONG ONE!

I checked their reviews, and there are over a dozen complaints that indicate this has happened before to people. A book takes over a month to ship, they get a damaged or even the wrong book, and refunds or returns are dragged out.

As such, I haven't advertised my Amazon listing, for fear that someone would see the Green Orbit listing, purchase from them because it's cheaper, then get scammed put of money and/or not get my book at all!

What I AM NOT okay with is the fact that they are claiming they can have my book to customers by THE END OF THE MONTH! It is physically impossible for them to have my book to customers in that time period.

Amazon also listed my book. It was on preorder, for the proper price, releasing on the correct date.

HOWEVER. Some jack-wagons called "Green Orbit" ALSO listed my book, at a 21% discount. I don't care about the price, in theory, I'd be getting paid the same amount anyway.

I am self publishing through Ingramspark. I have my book listed with a for sale date as September 1st. B&N found the listing, and it is now on their digital storefront (link in the pinned post if you're curious.)

I am absolutely LIVID with Amazon right now. Rant incoming.

It's actually here. I'm holding something I actually wrote in my hands, that others will be able to buy and experience on their own. It's surreal, and hasn't quite hit me yet how... big of a deal this is. But I'm so happy it's finished!
