My 2p: The design of the presentations that i attended showed clarity and less text clutter. This distilled into the take-away message that the presenters conveyed. Definitely an improvement!

Philip Isola (seen wearing a blue shirt), who is the CVPR 2025 Program Co-Chair, says "One of the big trends this year in commercial chatbots is they've become multimodal; they now analyze and generate not just text but also images and sometime videos. On the horizon is the ability to generate complete interactive worlds. The image, video, and world synthesis methods being presented at CVPR are paving the way toward this kind of technology." (1) ACs consult in triplets to ensure balanced decisions, especially when disagreeing with reviewers; (2) a Secondary AC reviews and confirms the decision and metareview; and (3) Senior Area Chairs and Program Chairs flag inconsistencies and perform final checks. (2/2)

Yes, it’s understandable to have confusion about the process. Allow me to briefly explain: Reviewers provide recommendations, and ACs make decisions based on the reviews and write meta reviews. These decisions undergo 3 layers of checks as follows (1/2)

Thanks for the feedback. Since #CVPR2025 is the first to implement these penalties, it will need additional data from future conferences like ICCV or CVPR 2026 before publishing comprehensive statistics. We have noted this for future meetings.
