Can we create game jobs that are not either low paid AAA jobs or well paid AI web3 mobile gambling scam?
Can we please build a sustainable industry with capable decision makers?
My teams turnover rate has gone from ok-ish 3 years to mere single digit months.

Yesterday we demoed our new game Chunk at the Queensland Games Festival and ended up receiving the Best in Show award!

It was a really great day and we want to thank QLD Games fest and ScreenQLD for the event and the award!

I've worked in my year abroad one part at a youth drop-in after school in the UK. So many kids that didn't want to go home.
You can't fix the families. Only by providing kids a safe environment where they can grow and get support helps. Everywhere I go I see a lack in funding for those sadly.

Super simple answer, it costs the companies money and gives: nothing. (Yes, reputation, but since when was this ever a currency for the big?)
You need optimizations in various steps (asset compress, removing bloat e.g. in UE5, realtime render...)
Sadly nothing I see change in the forseable future...

If you want to be up-2-date on the game dev events in Germany, Bavaria and some of the big outside of it and also having the Steam sales there? Gov. fund deadlines?

Sadly basically no one of the big ones optimises their games today.
Online you have certain amounts of space as maximum for your players correct.
On Steam this only makes sense if it’s cross platform limiting you the smallest denominator.

Often this is due to the online features. I can’t see why it shouldn’t be an option for local saves however. Well more cost to implement of course to have 2 systems being redundant. For redundancy usually no one cares as a business.
I heard PC limits you to 10.
