Stream schedule announcement! I have decided for the purpose of keeping a more consistent stream schedule, starting in November I will be streaming #PendragonMTG every Wednesday (8 PM CST) and Chat Chaos #EDH the first Sunday of the month (2 PM CST).

I wish I would have seen this while I was holding down Gathering Grounds!

I totally would have shown up to meet more cool people.

We cannot stop them by just boycotting at this point. They'll just pivot to other IPs to pull in new buyers.

It's weird to say but the best way would be to act as a players union & strike (refusing to attend events, buy product, promote new releases etc.) for a protracted amount of time.

5. Hasbro sees the return of established players + the continued revenue of new players (even if some leave after their ip is done) as proof that their system works (& technically they aren't wrong)

6. The cycle then repeats with each new set.

4. Apathy & a desire to keep up brings the established player back because there's no indication that the boycott worked & we all just want to play.

Hasbro has created their own infinite loop.
1. At this point UB has disrupted multiple formats disenfranchising established players
2. Established players try to stop buying product
3. The UB aspect brings in new players offsetting the boycott

Definitely, funny story, I haven't seen it live in a movie theater. My first Rocky Horror Experience was at a church youth group overnight 😂. We were very unsupervised 🤣

I've recently had the occasion to explain the success of #PendragonMTG to non-magic folks & regularly get the question, "Do you get any money for it?"

I find it sad that so many hobbies are only seen as worthwhile if they produce some sort of revenue.
