Jupp, I understand that these are automatically generated and I am truly grateful to all the editors and reviewers that keep the system running, but there has to be a way for the publishers (and this not only Elsevier, but virtually all of them) to make the 🕰 stop ticking over the weekend 🤨

Yes, I am also grateful if my own papers go through the review process quickly. But even (or better, "especially") as an author, I wouldn't want the journals to send reminders to my reviews on weekends, as this is not very likely to improve the mood with which they will attend my paper 😬

Isn't there anything that can be done about that?

@geoderma.bsky.social is one of my absolute favorite journals, but receiving a review request on a Saturday, 7:01 a.m. and then a reminder on Monday morning 7:14 a.m. ("why haven't you replied in the past 48 h of your weekend???") is beyond annoying 😑.

One of the cool things about Hanover is that within only a few km distance, one can find one of the worst soils of 🇩🇪 (podzol: 21/100 points) and one of the best soils (chernozem: 96/100). Of course, both are equally beautiful 😍, irrespective of how fertile they are
