i just got locked out of my windows because bitlocker acted up, and i don't have the recovery key because i used a local account when setting up win11 (which they clearly don't want you to do)
ffs microsoft

a heads up if you're using windows 11 and ever plan on installing linux as dualboot

!! disable bitlocker encryption in windows beforehand !!

you might not even know it's enabled because they silently enabled in an update

i could stick to just posting art and things i find important every once in a blue moon
i've spent too much energy worrying about what i should post and thinking of the Audience because i don't want to alienate people who are interested enough in me to follow

it feels like i'm putting on a performance in the middle of a crowded street trying to navigate it all while overthinking every interaction to a comical degree

last night i thought about performance anxiety i feel with social media and how social interaction is boiled down to pressing a button so much that it slowly loses any meaning or genuity

it feels ok to put youtube on the background and maybe not internalize 100% of the content but doing that to movies feels wrong

after arriving i spent most of the time today exploring the house in the evening. felt a bit lost at first because of just how big the house is. found chalk and a cider bottle cap. chatted with the uncle's kids and hung out for a bit with simon, a foreigner guest who speaks in a serif font

i have trouble committing to anything long-term, but i think it'd be fun to play boku no natsuyasumi 2 daily and summarize every day with a couple sentences and screenshots
