The evil you can see is sometimes preferable to the one lurking in the shadows, hiding around corners, and cloaking atrocities in flowery rhetoric.

Try framing the state of the world this way for a moment. Digest the fact that the media propaganda machine is engineered intentionally to deliver you a narrative that maximizes your emotional reactions and allows you to be optimized for manipulation.

Totally agree, it’s irritating AF. But it’s all part of the Kayfabe. We no longer live in a democratic republic, and haven’t for a while. We live in a corporatocratic oligarchy.

But… there are a LOT more of us than there are of them.

Only took me 10 mins here to get blocked by a blue wave liberal for politely replying that all our politicians have been sold to the highest bidder, and that no politician is coming to save us. lol. Sigh. the liberal echo chamber is so fun!

Good talk. This crap will keep happening if we don’t wake up to the fact that all of our politicians have been auctioned off to the highest bidder. They work for their donors now, not for the American people. They protect money and power, not the most vulnerable. No politician will save us.

I didn’t sit it out. I have voted in every single election since I turned 18. I am simply offering you a reason that many voters didn’t show up. Sorry that’s hard to hear, but it’s important to face reality so we can learn from mistakes and face the truth of the situation.

Musk certainly used his wealth in unethical ways to influence voters. But the Dems failed to present a compelling reason for voters to show up, and that is 100% their responsibility. The election wasn’t stolen, the Dems fumbled it in a big way, and I’d argue it was intentional; they’re complicit.

You asked, I answered. Harris and The Dems made a gross error in not breaking from Biden’s policies on Israel. No one thought Trump would be better. But not presenting an opposing option to voters was a MASSIVE mistake for the Dems. They need to own it.

Many of them stayed home because they refused to vote for genocide. I had four friends who have always voted blue call me in the week leading up to the election telling me they could not in good conscience vote for a genocide.

Because the Democrats are complicit. They always have been. It’s a good cop bad cop routine. It’s just become far more obvious now.

How so? That account posted a LOT of really blatant pro-Trump misinfo and propaganda on X during the presidential election and then flip flopped and turned “progressive” after the election. 🤔

How do we makes sure more of us can start to *truly* believe and embody this? Trans kids and immigrants are NOT YOUR ENEMY. Promise. Elon Musk and Sam Altman, however? 🤔 They’re definitely NOT your friends or your neighbors.
