OK emails went out close to midnight last night/this morning.

You are supposed to get an email.

But what has happened is that some people's hotel pages incorrectly updated saying that they got a room, when the lottery system is still running and it has not been finalized.

The emails have not gone out yet. Nothing is final until you receive an email.

If your hotel page says that you got a room, that is not final.

It will be finalized when you and your group receive an email.

Update with respect to Magfest hotel lottery draw from their Discord:

"For the transparency I can offer - we're populating data, but we're also reviewing it all for errors and other factors, so to be clear nothing is official until e-mails are sent out."

Correction.

Just got messaged by MagStaff. What you see on the hotel page is not finalized. It will be finalized when you get an email.
