That version of Blockbusters on the 64 was class. I liked it better than the TV Games version that came out a couple of years later (which was still pretty good to be fair).

I was supposed to be at @retrocomputermuseum.co.uk in Leicester today for their Christmas gathering, but had to stay home due to the winter lurgy.

I absolutely love this event and this is the first one I've missed. Genuinely gutted. On the plus side, my wife has put the tree up and it looks fab.

I had a cheap Zyxel NAS years ago, failed every test I threw at it. Put me off owning one for years, gone with Synology ever since.

I'm guessing this is because some of the files are linked more than once. Not sure how NTFS keeps track of this stuff.

Moved the contents of my USB hard drive to my NAS, then accidentally deleted some stuff. Un-deleting the entire contents of the USB drive (which was effectively empty) with TestDisk, and copying back to the NAS.

It's restored 2.5 TB of files and counting. It's only a 2 TB drive! 🤪

Sorry for the lack of updates on the BHF 64 charity fun thread. I have been flu'd up to the eyeballs.

I used to like to do this with MAME, leave games with noisy attract modes like Wonder Boy, TMNT and Hang-On running for a bit of arcade ambience at home. 😊

Seriously, I hope anyone who steals someone else's online shopping, hoping for a phone, a tablet or a laptop, gets one of the following:

There are some iconic seasonal images from the old Commodore Christmas Demo that would have looked far nicer than what they used, but I do still like the overall design.

They nicked it from Superman, but it *was* scarier because it would come after whoever it wanted.

Is this the 'better' version? The one I had didn't even have a metal shaft, just a single screw driven into the plastic stick from underneath.
