This is my brill brill curry - samphire pakora with lime pickle yogurt on the left and perfectly roasted, flaking brill on the right

Starters: Smoked mackerel pâté, with zesty tones of pickled lemon and pieces of smoked mackerel, plus hot grilled focaccia. And Burrata with crispy / sticky spicy caramelised onions

Thrilling Scots-noir production of Macbeth at the Harold Pinter Theatre, with an all-round superb cast led by David Tennant and Cush Jumbo. Stripped-back staging, spookily intimate eavesdropping through the headphones - and the best porter-scene ever. 👏

Excellent racket and really enjoyed the other piece - the Scottish premiere of The Dong with the Luminous Nose, and the introduction from its Russian composer, Elena Langer. Caledonian MacBrayne even got a mention (sea/sieve).

Museum der bildenden Künste Leipzig

MDBK art gallery - modern bit - is wonderful (excellent local art, unexpectedly! mdbk.de/en/). The train station is magnificent. Thomaskirche great for an explore and often has little concerts - Bachstubl opposite has lovely wines and fried trouts.
