In this pilot randomized clinical trial, 1 dose of psilocybin with manualized CBT significantly increased long-term abstinence compared with nicotine patch treatment with CBT.

I counsel against using #cannabis during pregnancy (unless under a few, extreme conditions...), but the data on harms is very mixed. This study shows no measurable harms with respect to ED visits, or developmental delay.

Off topic for me -- but we all need to push back against ICE, Trump's version of the Gestapo, which is harming (and now murdering) innocent civilians/peaceful protesters; most of the immigrants peaceful too - Trump is destroying fabic of our democracy.

As long as people are careful not to consume too much THC, and don't plan on driving, #cannabis drinks are significantly safer than alcohol (which was associated with 178,000 deaths last year); this is harm reduction.

Before I was a doctor, I was a kid watching my older brother Danny endure chemo for leukemia. Cannabis was the only thing that stopped the nausea & vomiting before he died at 16. It was the '70s, and using it meant breaking the law. Watch the full video at youtu.be/-MWHVhlIHwk
