This is how I feel about most of the cyberpunk I wrote back in the day.

I had read that! That ancestor's wife was also an "ironmaster," as he was, so I couldn't help wondering if maybe he was somewhat used to dealing with women in the business? Also, so cool that you were married on the bridge!

(1) Got a job making cables for the Brooklyn Bridge.
(2) Not sure, but he was later excommunicated by an otherwise calm bunch of Lutherans, so we have concerns.

My mother's cat used to do that. If it was raining when he started out the back door, he'd balk, come back in, and demand she open the front door. Sadly, it was always raining there too.

We had snow overnight, and now the cat is running from window to window trying to find one that doesn't look out onto a winter hellscape. He then runs over to berate me for my failings.

Honestly, I sympathize.

Me, too! I hope y'all are able to find an alternative to shots, though the other cat's caretaking is lovely.

I also had a (much less) dehydrated cat, and now he gets moist food with extra sauce and his water dish lives in the bathtub to deal with the spillage. Much sympathy all around!

Did this a while back. I was ok, but not everyone is.
