Archie vs Minor Threats was fun. First Archie comic Iโ€™ve read in a long, long time. Always loved the clean art. Story seems good so far and looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.

Heck yeah! Love old Ghost Rider. The art has got a lot of feeling.

That cover has major Castle Grayskull vibes. So good.

Today's watch - Warfare, directed by Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza. An incredible cinema experience. Go see it on the biggest, loudest screen you can.

Howโ€™s Jedi Knights? Iโ€™ve never read any Star Wars comics. Was wondering if itโ€™s worth jumping on recent series or to go back into the archives instead.

Todayโ€™s read - Saga, Volume 7 by Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples. Another great book in the series. Everything flows along so smoothly. I love seeing the characters develop issue to issue.

Ahhh nice. I had always heard it was based on this mask but Iโ€™ve never actually seen it.

Todayโ€™s read - Buddha Vol 3: Devadatta, by Osamu Tezuka. Iโ€™m loving this series. The art is simple yet detailed when it needs to be. Thereโ€™s a ton of casual violence, which is mostly funny in a young-kid way, but also makes you wonder where itโ€™s coming from, be that personal or cultural #comicsky

Awesome. Gives me Lovecraft vibes. But colourful.

Todayโ€™s read - The Name of the Game by Will Eisner. This was my first Eisner book and I really liked it. The art is so clean and the characters so real. I really disliked a few of them as people. Iโ€™ll definitely be looking out for more of his books. #comicsky

It seems decent so far. Iโ€™m not a fan of mega crossovers. I hate feeling like I have to buy a bunch of extra books. So far the onesI have dipped into do add a bit to the story. Guess weโ€™ll see how important they are over the coming month or two.

How are you reading Doom? Just the main series or completing the checklist? Iโ€™m in between. Donโ€™t think Iโ€™ll pick up the X books but got a few of the others.

Todayโ€™s read - Batman Hush, by Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee and Scott Williams. I donโ€™t read Batman singles but I have read a bunch of trades. This one was up there. Great art and the story has good pacing too. I can see why itโ€™s getting a sequel this year. #comicsky

Todayโ€™s read - Saga Volume Six, by Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples. Still loving this series. Great mix of tender moments, action and the occasional debauchery. Iโ€™m becoming a big fan of Ghรผs ๐Ÿฆญ #comicsky

Todayโ€™s read - V for Vendetta, by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. Dang. Iโ€™m starting to think this Moore dude knows what heโ€™s doing. Such an awesome story. Loved the setting and the tone of the writing. I wasnโ€™t sure of the art at the beginning but the oppressive feel really grew on me #comicsky

I havenโ€™t seen the show in decades but the theme song is permanently lodged in my brain. I often mind myself singing it my head.

Nice! One of the stories is in the second trade paperback. Still need to pick this up for the rest at some point. Really enjoying Geiger.

Today's read: Y: The Last Man, Book One, by Brian Vaughan and Pia Guerra. Dang, what a read! Thrilling story with great characters. I love how flat the art style is. This could easily have been made super-gritty but I love it the way it is. I can't wait to get into the next one!

I went past my local comic book shop yesterday and Iโ€™ve never seen as many issues of a new book as I did of Absolute Flash.

Iโ€™m keeping my expectations low as a reflex defence mechanism. I adored this book. If it comes close to the version that played in my head thisโ€™ll be great.

Awesome. Read the series for the first time recently. The dialogue is pretty stilted but I still enjoyed it. Doom is a great baddie.

Nice! Iโ€™ve been reading through the Saga trades and am really enjoying the series. Havenโ€™t jumped on Ultimate X-Men yet though Iโ€™ve heard good things.
