Archie vs Minor Threats was fun. First Archie comic Iโve read in a long, long time. Always loved the clean art. Story seems good so far and looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.

There's very little meat in these gym mats.

01.06.2025 16:23 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Today's watch - Warfare, directed by Alex Garland and Ray Mendoza. An incredible cinema experience. Go see it on the biggest, loudest screen you can.
23.04.2025 16:17 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Howโs Jedi Knights? Iโve never read any Star Wars comics. Was wondering if itโs worth jumping on recent series or to go back into the archives instead.
18.04.2025 15:02 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Todayโs read - Saga, Volume 7 by Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples. Another great book in the series. Everything flows along so smoothly. I love seeing the characters develop issue to issue.
17.04.2025 09:20 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Ahhh nice. I had always heard it was based on this mask but Iโve never actually seen it.

16.04.2025 14:20 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Todayโs read - Buddha Vol 3: Devadatta, by Osamu Tezuka. Iโm loving this series. The art is simple yet detailed when it needs to be. Thereโs a ton of casual violence, which is mostly funny in a young-kid way, but also makes you wonder where itโs coming from, be that personal or cultural #comicsky
10.04.2025 13:32 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Awesome. Gives me Lovecraft vibes. But colourful.
08.04.2025 18:30 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Todayโs read - The Name of the Game by Will Eisner. This was my first Eisner book and I really liked it. The art is so clean and the characters so real. I really disliked a few of them as people. Iโll definitely be looking out for more of his books. #comicsky

07.04.2025 13:28 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0It seems decent so far. Iโm not a fan of mega crossovers. I hate feeling like I have to buy a bunch of extra books. So far the onesI have dipped into do add a bit to the story. Guess weโll see how important they are over the coming month or two.
05.04.2025 16:11 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0How are you reading Doom? Just the main series or completing the checklist? Iโm in between. Donโt think Iโll pick up the X books but got a few of the others.
04.04.2025 13:22 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Todayโs read - Batman Hush, by Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee and Scott Williams. I donโt read Batman singles but I have read a bunch of trades. This one was up there. Great art and the story has good pacing too. I can see why itโs getting a sequel this year. #comicsky
04.04.2025 13:20 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Todayโs read - Saga Volume Six, by Brian Vaughan and Fiona Staples. Still loving this series. Great mix of tender moments, action and the occasional debauchery. Iโm becoming a big fan of Ghรผs ๐ฆญ #comicsky
01.04.2025 14:00 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Todayโs read - V for Vendetta, by Alan Moore and David Lloyd. Dang. Iโm starting to think this Moore dude knows what heโs doing. Such an awesome story. Loved the setting and the tone of the writing. I wasnโt sure of the art at the beginning but the oppressive feel really grew on me #comicsky
31.03.2025 14:20 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I havenโt seen the show in decades but the theme song is permanently lodged in my brain. I often mind myself singing it my head.
25.03.2025 07:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Nice! One of the stories is in the second trade paperback. Still need to pick this up for the rest at some point. Really enjoying Geiger.

21.03.2025 18:47 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Today's read: Y: The Last Man, Book One, by Brian Vaughan and Pia Guerra. Dang, what a read! Thrilling story with great characters. I love how flat the art style is. This could easily have been made super-gritty but I love it the way it is. I can't wait to get into the next one!
21.03.2025 17:41 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I love Nic Cage and thought this was really good. I always have time for a good disaster movie ๐ฅ
20.03.2025 21:12 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I went past my local comic book shop yesterday and Iโve never seen as many issues of a new book as I did of Absolute Flash.
20.03.2025 18:46 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Iโm keeping my expectations low as a reflex defence mechanism. I adored this book. If it comes close to the version that played in my head thisโll be great.
20.03.2025 18:44 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Awesome. Read the series for the first time recently. The dialogue is pretty stilted but I still enjoyed it. Doom is a great baddie.
20.03.2025 18:39 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Nice! Iโve been reading through the Saga trades and am really enjoying the series. Havenโt jumped on Ultimate X-Men yet though Iโve heard good things.
