I wasn’t surprised that it passed (more accurately, YES got voted down). I thought it could be close, either way. I was STUNNED that it was an ass kicking. NO won by like 18 points. For once, I was so proud of my state that night.

I kinda feel the same way with coaches’ sons advancing. Not that some of them don’t deserve it, but I once read that some are able to get their start at low-paid entry jobs and can stick with it because their dads can funnel some money to them.
