And he'll still lose out to Pooorrrllleeeennnnn Handjob and One Nazi intent on leading the country back into the 1930s.
And the 2 they found corrupt get off scot (or is it Scott?) free! Utterly fucked.
Some images from Day 1, Australian Masters' Athletics Championships, Canberra. NEVER underestimate their commitment, competitiveness & camaraderie. They give it their all.

Never let it be said that the lessons of 1933 Germany were not learned. The Shitler's neo-nazis have learnt them extremely well as they repeat the efforts almost exactly as Hitler's nazis did.
More accurately "Board of Piss"
Donald, I haf told zu many time, no touchee touchee without payee payee!
Missed this. Get well soon, Alan!
Thanks, Robyn!
The #BirdOfTheDay theme chosen by @alan678.bsky.social today is #EyeContact something the local Pied Currawongs (Strepera graculina) project fiercely!

Isn't it though.
Thank you!
Thanks, Rob!
Per @robcrank68.bsky.social the #BirdOfTheDay theme is #iridescent and here's a Straw-necked Ibis (Threskiornis spinicollis) at Oxley Creek Common demonstrating it.

Surely "born" is misspelled. Shouldn't it be "porn"?
True enough, although there remains in that scenario the issue of marketing believing they're subject-matter experts and usability experts when they're so often very much not at all. In essence, the key is, as it is in most aspects of life, communication.
Thanks, Ms AJ. π
Gotta love Rainbows in a bottlebrush! Well done, Audrey.
Cheers, Rina. Thank you, as always.
I'd already for #BirdOfTheDay theme #walking but then remembered these all from Rio del Mar beach, #Aptos
Sanderlings (Calidris alba): We're walking, we're walking
Semi-palmated Plover (Charadrius semipalmatus)
Willet (Tringa semipalmata) on sunset gold

There's been a myriad of examples over the years. I worked at one place where a feature was changed to the point it actually broke rules (not something you should do in high tech health) because marketing had spoken to one user who wanted it that way. In other words, screw the needs of the majority.
Such stunning birds!
Nicely done!
@alan678.bsky.social βs theme for #BirdOfTheDay is #walking and here's an Australian Brushturkey (Alectura lathami) doing just that at Mt Coot-tha Botanic Gardens

Hmmm, the big difference is that even when over-the-top, Williams and Carey were occasionally funny. Sandler, not so much.
On the flipside, marketing far too often tells engineering to replace a feature users actually need with some bright shiny, but utterly useless (if not actually outright detrimental) fluff!
Just to note that the Democrats are not centrists (or of the left) as defined in most of the rest of the world! They are well right of centre. Which shows just how far to the extreme right the MAGAts are.
To paraphrase one of the comments on this video: You know weβre in dangerous times when a history channel feels the need to comment on current events.

Thank you, Alan!
Cheers, Glynis, thank you. And they are one of those iconic birds that are a delight to see. Shame they're not here in Oz, but then again we have so many birds that the North Americans are envious of.
Great minds think alike (or is it fools seldom differ, I'm going with the former π) as I've also posted a female Cardinal for the BotD. And a nicely done shot of her, Todd.
