There's been a myriad of examples over the years. I worked at one place where a feature was changed to the point it actually broke rules (not something you should do in high tech health) because marketing had spoken to one user who wanted it that way. In other words, screw the needs of the majority.

Hmmm, the big difference is that even when over-the-top, Williams and Carey were occasionally funny. Sandler, not so much.
