How is it that in 20 years, there hasn't been a sports game as good as the GBA's Mario Tennis: Power Tour?
@jesawyer.bsky.social Not sure if you've answered this elsewhere, but I saw Todd Howard mention taking some Obsidian devs out to the set to see New Vegas. Did you get the chance to go?
I know the PlayStation Portal must be an amazing product because every single time I see a post about it, it's an unboxing and a message about how bad the Switch 2/Steam Deck/whatever else is. They never post again because its just that good and addictive!
The lack of voice acting in #PokemonZA feels like a huge misstep, especially with these early cutscenes where people are just silently mouthing words. Honestly, it's insane how many corners the world's most profitable game series cuts.
I wonder why all these comedians who got paid enough to "look the other way" on Riyadh expact us to all just do it for free.

AI is nowhere near good enough for this kind of thing, it just makes crap up and agrees with you. Might as well date The Easy Button.
Personally, I think Flavor of Love has legs
Pro Tip: If you think ANYONE'S rights are a liability, you're probably on the wrong side of the issue.
Even as I post this, the UI doesn't show that I'm connected to WiFi unless I go into the settings menu directly
Android 15 might be the worst new Android release I've ever seen. WiFi and Bluetooth are significantly slower to start and connect, the UI will show blatantly false info about their states, and the battery indicator has just stopped working multiple times for me.
I love the bar at the top of Facebook Messenger with all those random people I have not spoken to since high school and will never speak to again.
I think there's a level of absurdity to it that almost makes up for the terrible jokes.
As someone who just plays Pokemon TCG Pocket for the collection aspect and already pays for the monthly pass, the hole in my collection from that stupid paid Mewtwo is just going to piss me off to no end. Eventually, not being able to collect cards without paying will probably just make me delete it
I'm gonna come right out and say it. I liked A Minecraft Movie. I went in expecting something really bland and lame in a super corporatized way, but it was actually pretty out there and funny. I almost wish the first 20 minutes after the prologue was the whole movie, with nothing Minecraft involved.
I don't feel like there's much ambiguity in what I said. Ready Player One is a movie about nostalgia that doesn't actually examine the topic in any meaningful way. I know the book doesn't either, but when they got Spielberg to direct, I expected a little extra magic.
It got so much hate because it's got no substance. It's just a cynical cash grab playing on nostalgia but refusing to say or do anything with it.
I like how half the people in the replies want to argue that actually alcohol sucks and everyone in previous generations was lying about liking it. It's okay to just not like alcohol personally.
He's not complaining about it being French. The problem is the name is clunky and overly long when just Clair Obscur would've been a fine title.
Reading through a lot of #XMen books recently, and I think comics just got a lot better in the 80s. Not too say I didn't enjoy earlier stuff, especially #Claremont's work, but there's a lot more moving threads to follow in the 80s.
Kinda concerning that a guy with this little understanding of subtext is teaching students about International Relations of all things.
This is exactly how I sell it to people, "This is the funniest person you know's favorite comedy." Practically every comedian I even remotely keep up with that watched Hundreds of Beavers adores it.
Doubt we'll have a year quite like 2024 until at least 2028.
(elon unveiling his new martian flag design) well as you uh can, you know, see. there's red which of course uh is the mars color. duh ha ha. and then here a white circle, and this is um representing the bright future for the ahh, human race. and then uh you have so, this is a hindu symbol,
SomeBODY once sold me
Some baby shoes and told me
The little guys had never been worn
We wouldn't have needed TikTok to begin with if we'd just kept Vine afloat.
I kinda miss MLIA. It's hard to find communities like that these days. Social Media sites feel too big now.
I think the biggest obstacle for Linux these days is prebuilts. 90% are just buying whatever is the cheapest or has their favorite brand name on it. Neither of those have Linux installed by default. I could see that changing if Apple and Microsoft keep dropping the ball like they have recently.
The Raiders recreation is one of the low points of the Indiana Jones game, I'd recommend trying a bit more if you just gave up there
