Beat it for the first time last night and started NG+ right after the credits, it's that good!

I'm just glad they gave us this one happy timeline, even if we can't observe it anymore. Just know it exists and that better things are possible, that's enough to make me happy.

GQuuuuuux take on Newtypes seems to want to have it both ways - Newtypism is a politicised idelogy AND it's totally rad when our main girls become Newtype MAVs for the boss fight.

I think there's a reason later Tomino Gundams like Turn-A or G-Reco don't really care about all that very much anymore.

Not trying to be contrarian, but wasn't the finale of char's counterattack about the two newtype protagonists absolutely not understanding each other ("what do you mean, your mother!?"), and the empathy of all the mooks from both sides who stopped fighting was what really saved the day?

be warned though, even though the protagonist is a plucky redhead in both series, g-witch and quuuuuux have very different vibes.

i think as long as you accept that some things just won't get explained, you don't need any prior series knowledge. it's compeltely fine to watch it just for our protagonists without knowing what other characters are from OG gundam.

We could also agree on the Nokia phone port of Drakengard being the worst, but I'm not sure that one actually ever got released 😇
