So we've gone from "he never said anything Nazi" to "well he might have said something Nazi but not in a hurtful way" to "well okay he probably did say something Nazi in a hurtful way, but didn't we all?"

What a fucking club. Poverty chanting scab twats and now giving freebies to saggy faced fascist wannabes.

To be clear, when I voted for them I wasn't naive enough to expect the UK to return to the EU in Labour's first term. But because they've now made it explicit that they won't under any circumstances, as far as I'm concerned there equally will not be a second one.

Starmer urges Europe’s leaders to curb ECHR to halt rise of far right Exclusive: PM calls for members of European convention on human rights to allow tougher action to protect borders

How many times do we need to point this out?
By appeasing the far right, you do not weaken it. You strengthen it.
While weakening your own position.
There's a vast amount of academic research showing this.
But Labour will not listen.

Yep, agreed. Sorry, misunderstanding. I was on about formation, not style.

To an extent. But basically means we don’t play wingers anymore so what do we do with James, Gnonto, Okafor, Harrison? Yep, second half it worked today, but how easy will teams figure this out? I think today showed what we’ve been saying about changing when it’s not working than anything else

29.11.2025 17:21 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Yep. We haven’t got good enough players to play the football he wants, you need Β£50m players in every position for that. This is the way to play, at least against the better teams.

29.11.2025 17:05 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Highlights how we need to be playing though, see if he learns from it. We haven’t got good enough players to play the football be wants, like the Bielsa team towards the end. The tactics are sound IF every position has a Β£50m player in it

Fair play to Farke for making that change at half time - it’s vindicating to a lot of us though…

Sack the board, sack the manager. Obviously wasn’t expecting to win this one at all, but there’s far too many similarities to the last time we were relegated to just how easy we are to play against. At least others seem to put up a fight. #lufc

The great thing about this debate is that Zack comes armed with facts and figures whilst the Labour MP and the Tory only have the "it won't work" argument, whilst continuing to support a system that hasn't worked for over 40 years.

Labour are dead

The most amazing thing is the Tories were a nice, clear example of what not to do to evaporate your vote base and the Labour Party has decided to basically copy them and just change the wording a bit. And the thing is that whoever is in charge of the strategy is actually getting paid

Your regular reminder that there is absolutely nothing "hard" or "tough" about targeting the poorest, most vulnerable, and least able to defend themselves groups of people on the entire planet

A fascinating and revealing thread.
People from mining areas don't want the pits to reopen. Mining is hard, dangerous work.
What they want is the highly paid jobs that enable their communities to flourish.

Conservative Shadow Culture Secretary Nigel Huddleston tells GB News that the BBC should "grovel" to Trump.

Amazing how many British 'patriots' are spending their time telling our national broadcaster to prostrate itself before a hostile foreign leader

Doesn’t come close to defamation/libel on a number of accounts. The fact that the House found him guilty covers most of it. One of the other parts of UK law is that there would need to be proof that the report has someone caused him to personally suffer damages (ha!)

Recruitment: definitely came up short in attack, if not overall.

Board: quite happy for Farke to take the fall. If they sack him, they can be seen to take action.

Farke: not playing the best hand with the cards he's been dealt, especially away from home. #lufc

I know this is a Green Party policy, but maybe just leave it as a footnote and not mention it. It ain’t happening, just concentrate on things that are achievable and that will actually increase your chance in the polls

Sky News just had Kelvin Mackenzie on, former editor of The Sun, one of the people at the centre of probably the most disgraceful front page in newspaper history, complaining about BBC journalists not being objective and 'fake news'. Astonishing. ~AA

Farke really needs to ditch the "emotional fanbase" line. Emotion is literally the essence of being a fan. Why else do we invest so much time, energy and cash into a collection of strangers exercising if not for the emotions generated? It's *the whole point*. So, Daniel, stop making us sad... #lufc

Nigel Farage Says Minimum Wage Should Be Cut for Young People The Reform leader said cutting the minimum wage for young people would boost business, as he attacked plans to raise taxes on the wealthy

So Nigel Farage, who spent a huge chunk of his speech today attacking plans to raise even the slightest of taxes on the wealthy, thinks one of the biggest problems facing the UK is that young people on the minimum wage are being paid too much
