In relation to the seed cycling, seeds provide general nutritional benefits that are good for overall health, support the endocrine system & liver cleansing. But everything has caveats, which is why I take a person-centred approach.

High Estrogen is essential during pregnancy, so this isn't referring to that. High estrogen is a concern when it becomes dominant, causing menstrual health issues & reproductive disorders like endometriosis. Thanks for the link... I'll take a look!

But when it's too high, especially relative to progesterone that's where issues start to arise. In that instance, liver detoxification plays a role. What are your thoughts?

Detoxification is referring to the livers ability to help breakdown estrogen and eliminate the excess. Not that estrogen is toxic for women as estrogen is an essential hormone!

I'm actually pro person-centred! What works for one women doesn't work for all! HRT is a great solution for many women. It's about finding the right approach for the individual. Wouldn't you agree?

It depends on what type of PCOS. The most common is insulin-resistant. Different types require different things. A good starting point for all types is nutrition... a nutrient-rich diet particularly in protein, fibre, antioxidants & anti inflammatory foods. Drop me a DM to chat more if you'd like!

The link between the gut microbiome and endometriosis Recent studies have begun to explore the impact of dietary interventions on endometriosis.

Did you know your #guthealth can impact #endometriosis? The “estrogen-gut microbiome axis” plays a key role. An unbalanced gut can disrupt estrogen breakdown, raising levels and fueling endometrial growth. Balance your gut, balance your hormones! #endometriosisawareness #holistichealth #holistic

OBGYN Prevalence of endometriosis may be influenced by race/ethnicity, but there is limited quality literature exploring this topic.

#Endometriosis affects up to 10% of women (aged 15-44), but #Blackwomen are the most under diagnosed due to research gaps, racial bias & outdated beliefs. The old myth that endo is a ‘Caucasian woman's disease’ ignores their pain, limiting care. Time to change the narrative... #womenshealth
