When I explain that to them, they offer to delete my account rather than just simply having a way to sign in that is actually good if you've forgotten your password. Literally ROBLOX has better new device sign-in features than discord. Embarrassing.

Tried contacting Discord support and they suggested using backup codes which I cannot access due to not remembering my password and not really previously caring about the feature in general.

You know, it really doesn't make sense why @discord.com has to make signing in on a new device literally impossible if you've forgotten your password.

a game where if you close it, it completely restarts, and if you take damage (e.g., breaking your arm), it takes the same amount of time that it would take to heal in real life, causing the player to have to keep the game open for weeks, or even months.
