๐ŸŸก Episode I ๐ŸŸก

๐ŸŸก THE ORANGE MENACE ๐ŸŸก

Turmoil has engulfed Global stability. The taxation of trade routes to outlying oil wealthy nations is in dispute.

Hoping to enforce the oil theft with the might of the US Military Industrial Complex...

Ok this is too close. I always trusted George.

โ€‹"I saw your laser sword. Only Jedi carry that kind of weapon." โ€‹

"You think what? Iโ€™m going to walk out with a laser sword & face down the whole First Order?" โ€‹

"I've seen what that laser sword can do. It's not the weapon I'm worried about." โ€‹

"I've killed many Jedi & taken their laser swords!"

The Force is grounded in anxiety and identity crises. โ€‹I audit the wreckage of my life through ๐Ÿ”นStar Wars๐Ÿ”น. It's difficult to say that the throne room scene is the best moment in all of Star Wars in the same film as Luke Skywalker facing the entire First Order with a lazersword. That's the joint first slightly second maybe moment in all of Star Wars. Both in The Last Jedi.

Whilst this is true, it makes Star Wars MORE accessible and MORE relatable than ever to anyone who struggles with either a faith of any kind, or feels oppressed. Or is oppressed. The lesson of Christianity has guilt at its core. Star Wars is way more relatable and real than organised Religion.

This is my theory and I'm sticking to it. I'm not sure I've been proven wrong with regards to Finn being Lando's kid but I'm fine if it ain't so. I thought it in my first viewing of The Force Awakens. Plus Michael Arndt before he left said he was working on a story with Han, Leia & Lando's kid ๐Ÿคท.

Scraps are all I have left. Join me and together we will reappraise Star Wars through an entirely positive, holistic lense. Examine what it is not moan and bitch about how it could be different. It's a gift & I treat it as such. "All my life! Since I was 6, I think." 1977. An OG who lives in it! ๐Ÿ’ฏ

Well this is a beautiful message. Thank you ๐Ÿ™. Start with The Acolyte before Episode I. It sets up the structure Episode I throws us into perfectly. Going from the end of The Acolyte into The Phantom Menace is pretty seamless. Just a big time jump but Star Wars is full of gaps. Happy viewing โ™ฅ๏ธ๐Ÿ––โ™ฅ๏ธ.

When it comes to Star Wars (& certainly the Bible), fans of both have a lot of things in common. They like to apply rigid structures and procedures that were never intended by the creators. This is a bone of contention for me to say the least. People need to make things more than what they are. ๐Ÿ˜•๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿฅบ

George Lucas is a big fan of The Last Jedi. He's also on record as loving Obi-Wan. I imagine he'd love things more connected to his work & themes directly. Obi-Wan is Episode 3.5. The Last Jedi is a game changer. He will โค๏ธ The Acolyte for sure. The Prequel of the Prequels. 10/10 from me.

The Great Hall. Ralph Mcquarrie's concept. The Storyboard. The set design in the Elstree studios in London. The Painting on Glass. Beautiful symmetry. I love the business of the "show".

In Megalopolis Francis Ford Coppola put Eedy Karn, Ben Solo & Moff Gideon around a kitchen table discussing the differences, or similarities, between apes & mankind. I was expecting a Francis film. I'm a fan. This has Apocalypse & One From The Heart & Rumble Fish all in. It's daring & bold.

Star Wars has never been as popular & influential in culture as right now. Baby Yoda was bigger than actual Yoda. I've been around since the very beginning. From niche to cult to phenomenon to a true embedding into Culture under the stewardship of Kathleen Kennedy.

Yord Fandor. The first character in the live action Star Wars timeline to say the immortal words: "I have a bad feeling about this." His feeling was right. A few minutes later Qimir did him like a kipper. I have no idea why the DudeBro's think the most badass Star Wars show is bad. Oh. Females. ๐Ÿค”

The Acolyte is a perfect prequel for the Anakin Skywalker fall story. When I first rewatched The Phantom Menace after seeing The Acolyte a few times I realised how beautiful a prequel we now have to the prequels.

Rey is not a Mary Sue. Palpatine returning was immediately explained by a Hobbit. Luke was down temporarily & returned. Phasma was never going to be a badass huge character. Snoke's purpose was as a catalyst for Ben Solo. Finn was never becoming a Jedi. The Star Wars sequels are THE BEST. โ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธโ™ฅ๏ธ

The Knights of Ren were formed after the fall of the Jedi Order and the rise of the First Order, during a turbulent period in the galaxy that followed the events of the original trilogy. Their creation is closely tied to Kylo Ren & they may well have been pupils at Luke's failed Jedi Academy.

Grogu will have been baby Yoda all along. I think that's why at the beginning the creatives wouldn't even acknowledge the term yet by the making of Season 3 documentary Filoni is flat out calling Grogu, Baby Yoda. That's alright with me.

Denis Muren. A Death Star & a blue sky. Star Wars is an ethereal goldmine of inspiration and wonder. People desperately search for the bad in it. I milk the good for all it's worth. My heart belongs in a galaxy far, far away.

I understand perhaps why Bob lger said no then. It would have reopened the Ep can of worms. But. Now it's time to revisit &/ or incorporate. The Simon Kinberg/George Nolfi/Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy New Jedi Order Movie? Nolfi worked with Soderbergh on an "Oceans" movie. I think the future is bright. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿญ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ
