I remember someone asking how I navigated the lid from bed, because it opens toward you.

Generally, I take stuff out before climbing in, but for spur of the moment things, the essentials are kept toward the "front" so the lid doesn't need to open very far.

To be completely transparent, this system didn't even last the year. I still just toss stuff into it willy-nilly, but the things that NEED a dedicated space still get one. And less frequently used stuff goes to the back end, where they stay clean and untangled.

It still works! Just differently.
