I'm sure many of you have heard by now that earlier this week, IU k*lled the print edition of its student paper, the IDS. The issue that was supposed to print this week contained criticism of the Whitten regime and IUs further slide into scist control, and they couldn't allow that to happen during Homecoming, when all the rich alumni are in town.
Enter Purdue! The Purdue student paper, The Exponent, owns its own presses. Yesterday, in an act of tremendous solidarity with their biggest rival school, they printed the forbidden issue of the IDS. They then drove it to Bloomington overnight and stocked all of the IDS boxes on campus, just in time for Homecoming.
Solidarity is what makes us stronger, and solidarity will be what ultimately allows us to triumph, if we can ever truly get it together. I hope everyone has a fun, safe day if they're going out today, and I hope we can think about what acts of solidarity we can begin taking to really make this movement MOVE - beyond a permitted expression of upset into more active resistance.

Purdue to the rescue of IU student newspaper, whose institution was attempting censorship. Details in alt!

LMAO MassLive wrote an article about Liam Gallagher of Oasis performing at an Irish bar in Boston, but it was actually just an Oasis cover band.

β€œOne Battle After Another” is PTA's most purely entertaining film to date, an alchemic mix of political intrigue, thrilling action, and giddy comedy, all undergirded by some of the most technically spectacular filmmaking in recent memory.

It was also good, but not to the top-tier level of the 28DL ep. David Rees is so funny and insightful that I kept rewinding to really take in what he was saying. I wouldn’t subscribe to the Patreon for the 28WL ep alone, but it’s still solid.

β€˜Mission: Impossible β€” The Final Reckoning’ is Tom Cruise at his best and his worst "Mission: Impossible - Final Reckoning" review: Tom Cruises saves this messy movie from being a total disaster.

β€œMission: Impossible β€” The Final Reckoning” is a flawed, overstuffed, vainglorious monument to radical self-belief. But when Ethan Hunt looks you dead in the eye and says, β€œI’m the only one who can do this,” you believe him.

why everything sucks online:

1) online ads used to pay for everything until companies realized that ads didn't work that well

2) the companies that owned the ad systems need something that makes money since ads are working less

3) the people making stuff still needed the money that ads gave them
