17.08.2025 11:38 โ ๐ 4850 ๐ 2002 ๐ฌ 24 ๐ 40I don't think Peter Mandelson is PM's biggest problem. The biggest problem is not standing up to the literal violent racism on our streets, supercharged by the richest man in the world, and threatening the very fabric of our society. If he and so many commentators can't see this, we're truly lost.

27.07.2025 07:20 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0All famines are man-made, all famines are political. Historians of empire and humanitarianism have known this forever. Gaza is not starving, Gaza is being starved, by Israel, and this starvation is enabled by our government and by every other government that does not step in to force food and aid.

03.06.2025 12:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Chris Haughton - Shh! We Have A Plan! is a favourite of mine. Bold shapes, lots of repetition of a couple of key phrases, scope for funny voices, and a surprise pay-off with the right amount of jeopardy!

06.05.2025 06:15 โ ๐ 11538 ๐ 3813 ๐ฌ 149 ๐ 90I once again find myself wondering what this country would look like today if the Green Party had been given even half the media attention that Farageโs various vanity projects got over the last ten years.

This was their response:
I know some excellent trans & nonbinary people so I care directly about their rights... and it also took a couple of really open face to face conversations with excellent cis friends to get to my current perspective on the 'debate' on trans rights.
19.04.2025 07:50 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Today, we'll be joining the @societyofauthors.bsky.social outside Meta's offices to protest the use of pirated works to train their AI models.
Join us if you can! More info: societyofauthors.org/2025/04/03/u...
Just looked at this database. 7 of my books have been stolen by Meta for their AI database. In 1842 my greatx3 grandfather called for an International Copyright Law to prevent his works being pirated. Now we have that law, yet once again authors are experiencing theft. @societyofauthors.bsky.social
