I'm not exaggerating that this is one of the funniest movie moments of 2025.

THREAD: I got laid off from NYMag/Vulture after 14 years. The family lost 75% of income + medical. Now mzs.press bookstore, once a side project. is do-or-die for Judith & I. I feel weird telling you this because others are doing much worse. But if you could like or share this, we'd be so grateful!

Every problem we have suffered in Texas over the past two decades is directly attributable to Republicans. They’ve been in charge for that long. And they’re telling you they’re the only ones who can fix the problems, when they’ve been in charge the entire time. Wake the fuck up.

It's weird to see Judge and Schwarber hit a homer at Daikin and get the train celebration.

No, there were only about a dozen of them so the theater was pretty empty. They claimed that the screening was private but the theater was selling tickets to the public.

To this day, I still don't know why that person was so upset. They were acting like I snuck in. Dude, I bought a ticket.

When the ordeal ended, I thought the person looked familiar. I looked up a couple of universities and found out that that critic was a film professor as well. It was the same person that had me kicked out.

Eventually someone walked in, saw me and asked if I was in the class (it turns out it was a college film class). I said no. They got very upset and had me kicked out. That person literally called the theater manager to escort me out. I got two free future tickets as compensation.

I went to a multiplex to see a movie. I went to the box office and got my ticket. I was the first person in the theater and sat in the back. Minutes later, about a dozen people trickled in and sat together towards the front of the theater.

I'm late Gen X and all I'm saying is Millennials got fucked harder than anyone else. They were raised on post 9/11 American media and government and it's just been an endless stream of shit. And I'm not even talking about the 09 collapse. The wars, watching guns shred schools, social media insanity

btw I'm pretty sure I have the most boring reason why someone was ever kicked out of a screening of a movie.

I would tell Armond how much I like Altman and Godard to stay on his good side.

That would've been an honor.

I won't say who it is because that person is on this app.

I have family in California. It's always funny to hear people talk about it in a way as if Bakersfield and Orange County don't exist.

This is a reminder that the idea of red states and blue states is pure nonsense. It's urban vs rural vs suburbs.

Oregon is always considered a blue state only because over 80% of its population is urban. Take away Portland and Eugene, it may as well be Mississippi.

In case you're wondering, yes, the Rangers still have that social media post up.

It was good even though I'm not sure it should've been 3 hours long.

Watched it on a site called Le Cinema Club. They show a movie for a week for free. They showed it for a week about a month ago.

Unfortunately I don't see it on any streaming apps. Hopefully someone picks it up.
