THERE IS NEW STAR TREK THIS WEEK!

It doesn’t, but that doesn’t mean they can’t invent a technology, or find a wormhole or ancient portal. It just feels like they are playing around with the same stuff every show and it would benefit trek to truly start exploring the unknown again. A soft reboot while keeping its history.

I’d love whatever the new series of Trek is to get back to boldly going where no one was gone before. Almost all of the old shows were about exploring the unknown. I think the recent shows have largely been about expanding on what we already saw. I really think going to a new galaxy would solve that
