Fun fact about the border between Russia and Finland. Finland built this new wall, but Russia also has own wall, and another wall some kilometers away from it. Plus, on Russian side there's a forbidden area of 10+ km. to enter which one needs a special permission. All to not allow people to escape.

As a youngster I actually thought how neat it would've been if I were an American, because it meant I could've try to get a job at NTSB.

There was a "funny" moment at one of the protests. A German crew was filming the protests, and wanted to talk to me as one of the anti-govt. pro-peace protesters. Sure, I said, and then mentioned how Germany denied me so I fled to Israel. Their reaction was "oh", they disappeared.
