There's a fairly simple unpleasant reality of "regime change". The only thing that's needed is for the external actor is to see another country not as a threat.
This results in a globally common belief that an enemy country in ruins and inner conflict is "no longer a threat".

The building is now in the poor shape, but this is once again, the kind of Dubai I like, hidden between the pretentious wealth and the museum-recreated heritage. From the entrance one can see the "Burj Dubai".
Not far there's a nice tea stall.

For Dubai Mall I went to, as on Friday all post offices are closed, but the mall had Emirates Post stall where I could sent the postcards. Those since arrived to Acre.
