So meet Ziktharix (draconic for "Clever Claw"), aka IMPUDENT WORM, aka You There, aka That Thing (which he is certain is Elvish for "Smart Scaled One"). Level 1 Kobold Artificer who talks to stone, repurposes broken things others throw away, and is trying to survive on the streets of Waterdeep.
For the past few weeks, I've been working with the wonderful Ernesto Irawan (www.artstation.com/ernestoirawan) to bring my new character to life. Earlier today, I got back the final colors and am beyond thrilled with it and simply cannot wait until I get the chance to finally play him.
Once I had gotten my backstory and description completely sorted, I made a post of the DnDArt subreddit to say I was looking to get art of my new character. And then immediately got inundated with DMs from so many insanely talented artists.
At which point, we will begin again with new level 1 characters to play through Waterdeep: Dragon Heist and then launch into Dungeon of the Mad Mage. At least three of us have already decided on our characters and are ready to go.
We'll likely be hitting level 20 tomorrow night, if I had to guess, and then will likely have another 2-3 sessions of exploring the lair of our Biggest of Bads until we confront him & attempt to end him. And then from there, we'll have another session to wrap things up and decide on our epilogues.
My Saturday night D&D campaign is moving towards our finale after 2.5ish year. Started off in Baldur's Gate at level 1 and are currently level 19 and in the deepest depths of the Lowerdark to confront the author of all of the plots and schemes we've been wrapped up in through all of our adventures.
