The nation is run by corrupt fascists and all The Washington Post editorial editors care about is protecting the advantages of the wealthy. Boring, sloppily written odes to the "free markets" day after day. It is impossible to overstate how much I detest this.
There is nothing in this world quite like @sallyjenx.bsky.social when she is rightfully pissed. Danny Snyder learned this. The boys clubs of the NCAA and IOC learned this. The golfers of bloody LIV learned this. And now she's full on ripping the cruel and stupid ownership/management of the Post.

Our former managing editor smacks winning grand slam against former team's odious management.
Malpractice. But that's too kind a word for these numbskulls.
Ozymamdias
But no self respecting journalist should.
And it is what LBJ asked his war cabinet on October 17 1967 as the 2/28 Battalion of the First Infantry was marching into a brutal ambush in the jungle 44 miles northwest of Saigon. 60 soldiers died in that battle. Tens of thousands more deaths would follow.
New Washington Post editorial page motto: comfort the comfortable and afflict the afflicted.
Is anyone -- besides Bezos and maybe scattered right-wingers -- reading Washpost editorials? They get worse by the day. Boring, predictable odes to the wealthy class, far worse than the Wall St. Journal.
Invaluable. Thank you Nicole. @pastpunditry.bsky.social
As the Rev. Billy Kyles told me in 1988, "If King was Moses, Jesse is Joshua. He stands on King's shoulders. Whoever comes after Jesse will stand on his shoulders."
Jesse Jackson sang the body electric. He was part Walt Whitman, part John Coltrane.
Watch this.
What a soory tenure. Good riddance. The first good thing that's happened for the (surviving) great journalists at the Post in a long time.
Totally agree. It's always about race.
Washington sports legend dies two days after legendary Washington sports section killed.
He loves the celebrity life and hates his staff. Odious creature.
Matt Murray should have resigned. His rationalizations to Fox are specious. He acknowledges he has been working closely on all things with the utterly incompetent and corrupt publisher Will Lewis, who lierally hates the staff he is supposed to lead. That says it all.
Marty Weil! He is the Post's institutional history. A legend for everyone who ever worked there.
I just learned that The Post fired Marty Weil. I wasn't in the newsroom much, but when I was, he came in for his evening shifts, he would come through and say hello to literally everyone there. A really great guy, and a true sign of what The Post is giving up.
I should say I'm furious AND sad.
When Bezos took over the Post I said "Bezos is a killer, but at least he's killing for us." I sensed this might happen but didn't want to focus on it then, hoping his money would protect the great institution where I worked for 48 years. How naive and shortsighted I was.
You did great work @jonfischer.bsky.social
You put out a consistently great section @johnwilliams
I feel equally for the many great journalists at the Post fired today and the great journalists who survived and continue to do important work despite how horribly the owner and publisher have tarnished the reputation and integrity of the paper.
The Post sports department was a jewel for decades -- producing much of the paper's best writing. And the only recently expanded Sunday Books erction was terrific, often better even than the Times and Journal. Both killed by Bezos.
I used to be sad about what was happening to the newspaper I took great pride in for the 48 years I worked there. Now I'm just furious. Bezos did to The Washington Post what Trump did to America.
Agree.
It takes all of us to make The Washington Post. Every section works together to create this authoritative, entertaining, worldwide news report.
So, Jeff Bezos, #SaveThePost.
