Yes, a fitting metaphor. And no not as important as the larger awfulness he has loosed on our world. But this is not funny. It is hideous. This is the people's house; he is just an unfortunate temporary tenant. Every architect and historian needs to condemn this act of destruction.

The video Trump posted as a king dropping shitbombs on protesters is at once the low point in American civilization; an act of degradation that aptly encapsulates his presidency; an embarrassment that GOP officials will pretend they haven't seen; and a story the bollixed media will underplay.

This is a huge scandal, one of the worst in modern law enforcement and something that is astoundingly unconstitutional and illegal.
