They were probably at work. Unfortunately for far too many of our young people, they're having to hold down multiple jobs and/or work weekends to just pay rent, much less anything else.

Jobs that often don't have paid time off in "right to work" states ... sigh ... we'll keep fighting for them!

Picture from the 2021 Women's March Sister March in Halfway, Oregon. We had over 3 feet/1 meter of snow fall (on top of already over a foot of snow) the night before. The local men came out at sunrise and started plowing and shoveling the main road of this tiny town of 190 people so "the girls can have their little thing" ... then they all joined us in our sister march! Over 60 people marched that day, and more would have come if they could have dug themselves out!
