Terrible news out of Washington. Two National Guard members were killed near the White House. Praying for their families and for everyone who serves our country.

A president threatening political opponents with death is not normal. It’s dangerous. We have to call it out.

Gerrymandering is a cancer to our republic. South Carolinians deserve fair maps, not political schemes cooked up to silence voters.

Since August, I’ve been out in communities across the Lowcountry, holding open public town halls and hearing directly from the people of this district. No other candidate in this race has been doing that. It’s clear from every stop that this district is ready for new leadership.

Is housing affordable in the Lowcountry?
And no, 50 year home loans are not going to solve the problem.
