for the record, my process is still better and the instructions were stupid. This company needs to hire me specifically to rewrite their instructions so everyone can adopt *my* clearly superior workflow (I'm only joking because I wouldn't take the job even if it was actually offered)

On the one hand, I am glad that someone ported Flashback!Solas's hair to Inquisition as a mod. And I don't doubt that they did it correctly.

But I can't help but be a little sad that they haven't added a brunette version because I don't think I could take him seriously as a blond

Origins through Inquisition do. And my (admittedly out-of-date) version of frosty booted up Inquisition fairly easily

The paradox of my reading tendencies is that I like to alternate between challenging and fun books (both adjectives there being wildly subjective) but the challenging books take me so long to read (2-3 weeks) while the fun books I'll easily finish in less than a week

On the one hand, page count is already fairly arbitrary. I'm p sure that I'm reading fewer words per page in my current trade paperback read vs the mass market paperback I just finished.

On the other hand, I am very curious how others deal with this (very minor!) problem

Fellow reading trackers, when reading a print copy of a book that counts the front and back matter in its page count, how do you record progress?

So far, I've got:
* count front (and back?) matter in my in-progress page count
* record percentage of book read minus front and back matter

So i needed to do some armour training for a comm and Loghain served as a doll

*what I'm actively doing on my desktop does frequently lead to me opening 10-50 tabs if I'm actively cross-referencing information for say... writing or grinding in FFXIV

I have been trying to mindfully shut down my computer when I'm not going to use it for several hours, which means closing tabs

typically? across all windows on my desktop/laptop alone?
3-5-ish

2-3 are messaging sites for talking with friends/family/etc
the rest are related to whatever I'm actively doing* on my desktop at the moment

if we include my phone browser tabs. well then that's always 30+ 😅

though if I hope to be responsible, then I'll be juggling 3 books for the next two days as I finish the (short!) book that I started to speed up my hold arriving

lmao, this is my only shot of very late ShB Makimi where all her pink coloring has turned white, but I've got more intentional shots of her about mid ShB and prior to ShB. Ending with a shot of her post-EW which captures the limnal ring touch

I'm partially chewing over the idea that Makimi's skin and scales remain their typical colors thanks to Ardbert *and* Daishione sharing the load for Makimi's excess of light aether

But I'm going to wait until Daishione is through ShB to commit to that

Makimi's limnal rings, hair, face paint, and even her clothes slowly faded from bright pink to white. For those who see aether, her aether was about 1 shade lighter than her appearance

After ShB, her hair remains tinged with white and in the right light, her limnal rings shine white instead of pink

casting: "fine. I'll read a different book" to speed up the process
