I’m not familiar with the situation for Koreans, but when a Chinese person uses the surname “Lee,” it’s typically an attempt to pass as white. In all standard romanization systems for Chinese, the surname 李 should be spelled “Li,” not “Lee.”

I would like to point out an error on page 246 of your biography of Wang Jingwei. In 2015, Lien Chan was not serving as Vice Chairman of the Kuomintang; in fact, he did not hold any official position at that time. Thank you.

Malcolm X was fully deserving of sharing the Nobel Peace Prize with Martin Luther King Jr. The fact that he did not receive the award remains a regrettable oversight on the part of the Nobel Committee.
