Sil and Niall are still in their rooms. Sil is getting ready to go gift shopping, spending at least an hour trying to pick an outfit. Niall doesn't even begin to wake up until 10am hits.
They both don't come out until 11 or 12.
Anu meanwhile is inside blasting music and making breakfast for everyone. Lionel helping where he can, but still sleepy since the music woke him up early.
Only Gene and Luke would be trusted to put up the Christmas lights outside. Gene does the actual labor, and Luke makes sure everything is even.
Unironically, December always gets me thinking of Anu 😔
Omg my favorite thing, eating yesterday's dinner for breakfast since we made too much. (It's gonna happen again)
Only getting a tree since everything else is expensive or doesn't fit '✨️The Vision✨️' Ma has. Maybe a few ornaments here and there.
Crawling around the storage closet/garage for that one box of decorations. Arguing when the wrong box comes out, only using the lights that we've had for years. Going to the store for more decorations 'cause the old ones are 'ugly and cheap looking'
Being forced to wake up at 6 am to help make tamales. Making the abuelita hot chocolate every other day. Going to the market super early because 'That's when the best ingredients are available'.
Anyways, with the holidays in full swing, all I've been thinking about is Anu participating in the same activities I have.
My favorite thing about having ocs? Making any headcanon real. The worst part? Making the hcs 😔
