I always marvel at how I think more about "going to work" than "going to die" I imagine death chuckling at themselves when people refer to leaving work as going on a "permanent vacation."🤣They must think "You can always get another job & vacations end. You have no idea what a permanent vacation is."

The 2nd most intellectually sexy thing is when the speaker notices that level of listening & returns the favor. This kind of listening chivalry is so rare these days. The first is true listening and the second is listening to the listening. When it happens it's like two aliens recognizing each other

The most intellectually sexy thing is when someone hears you haven't quite finished your thought cause they're listening so intently even at pre words. Just before you're about to give up on finishing that thought they say "no, go ahead." Alternate realities are created because of their generosity.💖

For a lot of us, losing Twitter isn’t really about losing ties to the company itself. It’s losing 10+ years of real, asynchronous communities, professional development, the ability to get gigs and clients, the ability to promo/share your art on an extremely broad scale. The loss of that has impact.

When you experience nagging physical pain, you finally realize how the absence of pain can be a pleasure you never really appreciated before that pain came. 🙂 Hopefully putting it into words will help me remember when the pain goes away.

There's a lot to love about the Matrix but one of the more underrated aspects is the belief Morpheus has in Neo. Their relationship is as much a "love" story as the relationship between Neo & Trinity. The belief Morpheus had for Neo was so strong that Neo was willing to risk his life to save him.

Had a dream I died when a bus driver drove thru a guard rail off a cliff to our "final destination". On my descent I thought how unprepared I was for all this. Bus in reverse is Sub. Perhaps my subconscious is driven by a fear of death? It's just not fare when life & death are not in your hands.😐

Whenever I'm vidding I feel like I'm two different people at the same time. One really wants to vid and the other one is like 'not gonna do it, though'.

There are things that are so timeless you can't imagine a time when they didn't exist like You Tube. Some people are like that. You can't imagine who you were before you met them.

I forgot about death today and the fact it's getting closer each day, and probably so did you until you read this. Don't forget to be you while you have the time. It's better than being someone else.
