If these were normal times, I would not be unsettled by the fact that, for more than half an hour this morning, the website of the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture was inaccessible. I'd assume it was a glitch.

These being Trumpian times, it was very unsettling.

I noticed this too. Several Smithsonian sites were down or extremely slow. Also some climate-related sites.

This is my local station, serving a broad area of Central Pennsylvania. Our whole community is shocked and horrified, and hoping we can pull together some kind of response to save the station.

Yeah, I saw those DEA agents at Dupont Circle. They were standing around chatting while people there pushed strollers, walked dogs, and visited cafes.

I saw groups of DEA guys at Dupont Circle Saturday night, chatting and laughing amid the dangerous scene of... people strolling to restaurants and hotels.

Saturday night we saw two groups (maybe about six each) of vested agents with DEA badges at Dupont Circle (near Mass Ave), basically just chatting with each other and laughing. The "dangerous" scene: a few young people headed for nightclubs, tourists with suitcases, folks strolling to cafes.

Word. Google docs only if forced to.
